Omega Chapter
As a sister passes away, she becomes a member of the Omega Chapter and will forever be honored.
Khushbu Kheti
On December 2nd, 2017, Khushbu Kheti, Sister Rapture #3 of the Xi Class of the Gamma Chapter lost her long fight to cancer. In May of 2016, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the pancreas which spread to the liver. She fought with everything she had, and did so with grace and beauty. Even while going through this difficult journey, Khushbu remained positive trying to live her life to the fullest, and ensuring her loved ones did as well. She was an amazing individual with so much courage, strength, and compassion for the people in her life. Since she’s crossed into the sisterhood on January 18, 2007, Khushbu has given so much back to her sisters and our sorority through her leadership in the Gamma Chapter, National Leadership, and Drexel University, where a Greek Week Spirit Award was named after her.
Kammini Ragoopath
Kammini ‘Mini’ Ragoopath, Sister Revival #2 from the Upsilon Class of the Gamma Chapter past away on February 27th, 2010 in an unfortunate car accident. We lost a strong, independent and vivacious sister, someone who could never be replaced. She was a, “spunky little girl who’s personality was way bigger than her 100 pound body!” For Mini, Delta Phi Omega was everything. Her biggest passions were bhangra and our sorority. She was passionate and worked hard in everything she did, and was Gamma Chapter’s way of refocusing and restructuring. Sisters will remember her as the delightful and warm person she was. “All you have to do is smile just a little too much and remember her for how amazing she truly was.” – Khushbu Kheti
